Getting married in Ede: plenty of nature within the municipality

Ede is one of the largest municipalities in the Netherlands by area, and much of it is woodland and heath. Besides the town itself, it includes villages such as Bennekom, Lunteren, Otterlo, Ederveen and Harskamp. For a couple, that means plenty of choice in settings: a town ceremony, a village church or a venue in the middle of nature.

To the east of the town lies the Ginkelse Heide, a large, open heathland known for the annual commemoration of the airborne landings in 1944. Near Otterlo you will find the start of Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe, home to the Kröller-Müller Museum and its sculpture garden.
