Getting married in Amsterdam: a city full of icons

Many couples marry at the town hall on the Amstel, the building the city shares with the opera house. From there it is only a few minutes to the Magere Brug, the canal ring and the Westerkerk. If you would like more greenery, choose the Vondelpark, the Amsterdamse Bos or the Amstel outside the city, towards Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Industrial spots such as the Westergasfabriek and the IJ waterfront also have a distinctive, urban feel.
