These terms apply to the use of trouwautohurenonline.nl, by couples and other visitors and by rental companies who offer their wedding cars on the site.

1. Definitions

Platform: the website trouwautohurenonline.nl and the rental company portal.
Operator: Jerry.nl, trading as Trouwautohurenonline.nl, based in Bodegraven, KvK 90732510.
Customer: anyone who submits a request through the platform or contacts a rental company.
Rental company: a business or private individual who offers wedding transport through the platform.
Agreement: the arrangement for wedding transport between the customer and the rental company.

2. What the platform does

Trouwautohurenonline.nl brings couples and wedding car rental companies together. The platform is not a rental or transport company, does not carry out any journeys itself and does not enter into agreements on behalf of customers or rental companies. It is independent and not affiliated with any rental company.

The operator owns a 1972 Volkswagen Kever. This car is not offered through the platform.

3. Requests and quotes

A request goes directly to the rental company of the car you have chosen.
If you request quotes from your favourites in one go, each rental company you have chosen receives a single request about its own cars. Other rental companies do not receive your details.
Prices on the platform are indicative. Price, availability and conditions are set out in the rental company's quote and are the rental company's responsibility.
A request is free and without obligation.

4. The agreement

The agreement is made solely between the customer and the rental company. Trouwautohurenonline.nl is not a party to it and cannot be held liable for anything arising from that agreement.

5. Liability

Trouwautohurenonline.nl is not liable for:

whether or not a rental company carries out a journey;
delays, cancellations or defects in a car;
damage, injury or consequential loss;
incorrect or incomplete information from rental companies;
faults or temporary unavailability of the platform.

If a rental company fails to keep its commitments, that is a matter between the rental company and the customer.

6. For rental companies

6.1 Signing up and your account

You can sign up as a business or as a private individual. A KvK or VAT number is not required.
You make sure your details are correct and kept up to date, including the details for your invoice.
You log in with a one-time code sent by email. You are responsible for everything that happens from your account, including by team members you invite.

6.2 Trial period

Your first car is listed online free of charge for the first 30 days after you sign up. Every additional car appears on your invoice from day one. After the trial period you pay for all cars that are listed online.

6.3 Prices

You pay for each car that is listed online, per month or per year. The price per car depends on the number of cars you have online; the current prices are on the For rental companies page.
A car that is offline or paused costs nothing.
Extra visibility, such as a spot on the homepage, is optional and charged separately.
All prices exclude VAT.
There is no commission on requests or bookings.

6.4 Invoices and payment

You receive an invoice by email every month, which you can also find in your portal.
The payment term is 28 days from the invoice date.
You pay via the payment link on the invoice, by bank transfer or, if you choose, by direct debit.

6.5 Late payment

If an invoice has not been paid after the due date, you will receive a reminder. A second reminder follows after two weeks.
If payment is still not made, your cars will be taken offline until the outstanding invoices have been paid. Once you have paid, they go straight back online.
Trouwautohurenonline.nl may charge statutory interest and collection costs.

6.6 Pausing and cancelling

There is no minimum term. You can pause, take offline or delete a car at any time in your portal. This takes effect the same day.
With an annual subscription, the current year runs until the end. Paused days do not extend the year.

6.7 Your listing and your content

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, for permits and insurance, and for keeping your commitments to customers.
Trouwautohurenonline.nl may use the text, photos and other material you supply on the platform and to promote it, online and offline. You declare that you have the right to use this material and you indemnify Trouwautohurenonline.nl against claims from third parties.
Trouwautohurenonline.nl does not check listings systematically, but may take a car or account offline or block it in the event of misuse, misleading information or failure to comply with these terms.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the platform available at all times, but we cannot guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors. Maintenance, updates or faults may cause temporary unavailability.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in the platform, such as the software, design, text and logo, belong to the operator unless stated otherwise. Using them without written permission is not allowed.

9. Changes

These terms may be amended. The current version is always on this page. In the case of material changes, we will let rental companies know in advance by email.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
