Buick Roadmaster 1955

Its impressive dimensions and beautiful design make this unique classic a much-loved wedding car. This Buick Roadmaster dates from 1955, a time when everything in Europe was still being rebuilt, while in the States everything was allowed to be bigger than big. Buildings had to be taller, roads wider and cars larger still. With its enormous 8-cylinder engine and Dynaflow transmission, the builders of this Buick never had to count every kilo or centimetre.
This car was delivered new in 1955 by Davie Jones of Lamesa (TX), and we bought it from the first (!) owner, the Autry family. This wedding car is still in completely original condition. The upholstery is now 65 years old but in mint condition, just like the rest of the car, with its imposing dashboard and handsome grille. The huge interior offers plenty of room, even for little ones in the wedding party.
It is a unique experience to be driven to your wedding venue in this romantic Buick in such style.
