A BMW 6 Series is not listed at the moment. The name actually covers two very different cars. The first 6 Series arrived in the late 1970s: a long, low coupé with a nose that slopes forward, known among enthusiasts as the shark nose. In the early 2000s the name returned on a modern coupé and convertible, later joined by a four-door Gran Coupé.
The classic coupé is a beautiful wedding car for anyone who loves the clean lines of the 1980s. It has two doors, so the bride gets in via a front seat that folds forward. With a full dress, she will be most comfortable in the front. The modern convertible is a different story: spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and an open roof for the photos. It suits a wedding where you want to stand out without being flashy.
For the feel of a classic German sports car, the Mercedes-Benz W113 is a strong choice, an elegant two-seater convertible from the 1960s. If you want a modern four-seater convertible with the same grand tourer character as the new 6 Series, take a look at the Maserati GranCabrio.
You will find a British coupé with a similarly long, low silhouette in the Aston Martin Vantage. And if you would like to see all the fast cars side by side, browse the sporty wedding cars. If a 6 Series is added later, you will find it here.
