MG is a British marque whose name goes back to Morris Garages. In the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s it became famous worldwide for its small, open sports cars. The MG B, built from the early 1960s until 1980, is the best-known model: a low roadster with a fabric roof, often in English green or red paintwork, and sometimes with wire wheels. There was also a closed GT version with a small back seat.
As a wedding car, an MG suits a couple who want to keep things small and full of character. It looks lovely at a countryside wedding, along dykes and through villages, and with an English-inspired theme. In practical terms, it is a two-seater with little room for a full dress. You travel at a leisurely pace and without air conditioning, so on a warm day the open roof is actually an advantage.
Most MGs were built in England with right-hand drive, but there are also many left-hand drive cars, made for the American market among others. For you as passengers it makes little difference, but it does decide which side the bride steps out on.

The selection changes, so an MG may still appear later on.
