The W115: a classic Mercedes from the 1960s and 1970s
The Mercedes-Benz W115 is not currently available from our rental companies. The W115 is the saloon that Mercedes built from 1968, alongside the six-cylinder W114. Enthusiasts call both the Strich-Acht, after the /8 designation, because the series appeared in 1968. It is an understated, upright car with plenty of chrome and a tall grille topped with the star.
As a wedding car, the W115 has a charm of its own. It looks classic and well kept without being showy, and suits a wedding with a vintage or deliberately understated style. It has four doors and a wide back seat, so getting in wearing a wedding dress is reasonably easy.
