There is currently no Ford F100 on the site. From the 1950s to the early 1980s, the F100 was Ford's light pick-up in the F-series. The 1950s versions, with their round wings and wide grille, and the 1960s and 1970s versions, with cleaner lines, are especially popular with enthusiasts. What was once a workhorse is now a much-loved wedding car for couples with a countryside or rustic theme.
The strength of a pick-up is its load bed. It can hold flowers, straw bales, wooden crates or a sign with your names on it, and it makes a perfect backdrop for photos in an orchard or on a farmyard. The cab is more basic: a single bench seat for two or three people and a fairly high step up. With a slim or short dress that works well, but with a very full dress it is a squeeze. Expect classic technology without air conditioning, and a car that prefers to drive at a relaxed pace.
The closest match is the GMC 100, a classic American pick-up from the 1950s with the same rounded shapes. For a modern pick-up with plenty of space, take a look at the Dodge Ram.
If you would rather stay with Ford, but choose a passenger car from the same era, the Ford Fairlane from the late 1950s is a good choice. The selection changes regularly; if an F100 comes online later, it will appear on this page.
