At the moment no rental company offers a Cadillac Fleetwood on the site. The name Fleetwood comes from a coachbuilder that later became part of General Motors. For decades Cadillac used it for its most expensive and often longest models, including limousines with an extra long wheelbase. A Fleetwood therefore stands above all for space and stateliness, with plenty of chrome on the outside and soft seats on the inside.
It is precisely this space that makes the Fleetwood interesting for a wedding. There is room in the back for a dress with a lot of volume, and in the long versions your witnesses or parents can ride along too. The car drives calmly and smoothly, which is pleasant if you want a moment to catch your breath on the way. Do keep the length in mind: turning around on a narrow road or parking at a small church takes some preparation, so ask the rental company to look at the route beforehand.
If you are looking for that spacious, formal feel, take a look at the limousines. A British counterpart with the same dignified look is the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, a large luxury car from the fifties and sixties.
If you would rather stay with an American car from General Motors, the Buick Electra 225 is a good choice: long, comfortable and with a wide back seat. The selection changes regularly; if a Fleetwood is added later, you will see it on this page.
