There is currently no Ford Tudor on the site. Tudor was the name Ford gave in the 1920s and 1930s to its two-door sedans, including those of the Model A. The name is a play on two-door; the four-door version was called the Fordor. A Tudor has the silhouette many people picture when they think of a real vintage car: a tall, upright roof, separate wings, running boards and large round headlights.
As a wedding car, a Tudor makes a strong impression. It suits a wedding with a vintage or 1920s theme, a party at an old farmhouse or a ceremony in a village church. There are a few practical points, though. With two doors, the bride gets into the back past the front seat, and space is limited, so a slim or softly flowing dress works better than a full one. The technology is almost a century old, so the pace is slow and a short, relaxed route is sensible. Choose a rental company that knows this car well.
A genuine pre-war car is not on the site at the moment, but the Bentley MK VI comes close in its lines: large separate wings and an upright grille, from the early 1950s. If you would rather stay with Ford, the Ford Fairlane is a classic from the late 1950s.
If you would like a two-door classic with rounded shapes, take a look at the Volkswagen Kever. You can find the full selection under classic cars. If a Tudor is added later, you will find it here.
