There is currently no rental company on the site offering a Ford F250. The F-250 is the heavier version in Ford's F-series, built to tow and carry more than the F-150. There are classic examples from the fifties to the seventies, with the rounded or boxy lines of that era, and modern versions that have carried the Super Duty name since the late nineties. A modern F-250 is even taller and bulkier than an F-150.
As a wedding car, it suits a couple who love a rugged look. It looks right at home in a farmyard, beside a barn or at an outdoor venue, and the load bed can serve as a stage for flowers, fairy lights or a sign with your names. There are drawbacks too. The step up is high, which with a long dress means a step or a helping hand. And its size makes a town centre or a narrow village street difficult. So choose a location with plenty of space and agree with the rental company where the car will stop.
The Dodge Ram comes closest: a large, modern American pick-up with four doors. If you are after the classic side of the F-250, take a look at the GMC 100, a pick-up from the fifties.
For other Fords, head to the Ford brand page, and you can find the full selection under American wedding cars. If an F250 is added later, you will find it here.
