There is currently no Chevrolet Brookwood on the site. Chevrolet used the Brookwood name for its station wagons, mainly in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They are long, wide cars with a large load space at the back, plenty of chrome and the horizontal lines that were so popular at the time. Among the well-known wedding cars, a station wagon like this stands out straight away, and it suits a wedding with a relaxed, American retro character.
For a wedding, a car like this has a few unexpected advantages. The tailgate opens onto a large, flat space where you can stow your things: flowers for the venue, a suitcase or a basket of snacks for the journey. With the tailgate open, it also makes a lovely backdrop for photos, for example with the two of you sitting on the edge. In the back, the seat is wide enough for a dress with plenty of volume. Expect classic technology and no air conditioning.
If you are after the same 1950s feel, the Ford Fairlane is a good alternative, with the chrome and lines of the late fifties. If you would rather have a large, rounded saloon from that era, take a look at the Buick Roadmaster.
For a retro car with room for more people, a wedding van can also be a good fit, such as the Volkswagen T1. You can find the full selection at American wedding cars. If a Brookwood is added later, you will find it here.
